CDEK launched parcel delivery at a convenient time with an interval of 1 hour. The service is free and valid for all door-to-door orders, so far only in Moscow, but will soon appear in St. Petersburg, Samara, Krasnodar and Novosibirsk. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the company.
When the package is ready for delivery, the client receives an SMS message with a link, after which he can choose any convenient delivery interval from 11 am to 9 pm. The service is available to both ordinary recipients and companies.
“Slot delivery” is made possible by a special algorithm that takes into account the load of the courier, the density of addresses in the delivery area, and the location of the courier. It also interacts with the user interface, where interval selection is possible. For example, if the period from 13 to 14 hours is already taken, and the courier cannot take additional orders at this time without delay, then the new user will see that those hours are already taken and can choose any other. says the message.
Previously, CDEK opened 120 branches outside of Russia: 81 in the CIS countries and 39 in the Far Abroad countries, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and Turkey. During this year, the number of branches in the Commonwealth countries can grow by 60% compared to the end of 2022.
