Xiaomi Redmi 13c and Tecno Spark 20 came in 8/256GB configurations. While the Tecno comes with a cable, headphones, an 18-watt charger and a case, with the Xiaomi you only get a cable and a 10-watt charger (although the smartphone supports a maximum power supply of 18 watts).

While the Tecno smartphone took 2 hours and 7 minutes to fully charge, the Xiaomi phone took 2 hours and 44 minutes to fully charge. In terms of audio, overall the Tecno Spark 20 wins.

Unlocking speed using both face and fingerprint scanner is the same in both cases. Both smartphones have IPS displays with 720p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. But Redmi’s screen diagonal is slightly larger: 6.74 inches and 6.6 inches. The screens are the same in terms of quality, but Xiaomi wins in terms of brightness. But in direct sunlight you still won’t have enough brightness.

In terms of performance, both devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. But video rendering is faster on Tecno. The same goes for applying filters in Google Photos. Tecno Spark 20 also copes better with multitasking.

If we talk about games, you will get the same experience on both the smartphones.

The front camera on the Tecno has a resolution of 32 MP while on the Redmi it is 8 MP. Indoors, in good lighting conditions, both devices take good photos. But Tecno still copes with this task a little better. In natural light, Xiaomi’s skin tone becomes closer to reality. Tecno Spark 20 also wins when it comes to shooting videos with its selfie camera.

The main lens of both smartphones has a resolution of 50 MP. Redmi also has a 2MP macro and another “plug” sensor. Tecno has exactly the same “plug”.

On the main camera, you can record video at 2K 30fps on Tecno, while you can record video at 1080p 30fps on Xiaomi. Also keep in mind that these are affordable smartphones and do not have image stabilization.

As for the battery, its capacity is 5000 mAh in both devices.

Overall, of the two smartphones, the Tecno Spark 20 performed better, has a more complete package, has stereo and has a slightly better camera compared to the Xiaomi. The only problem is that it looks very similar to the iPhone.
