Performance Group, one of Russia’s largest producers of ready meals, has launched a budget line of all-day portions as part of the My Food service. This was reported to RB.RU by a company representative.
The line is called “My Simple Food.” When placing an order for 30 days, the cost of a daily ration will be 330 rubles (9900 rubles per month). The company plans to keep the price until the end of the year “as long as there are no events that directly affect the cost of products, the ruble exchange rate, etc.”
The menu is based on the most popular dishes from the My Food service. “Part of the composition of the dishes has been reworked, emphasis has been placed on seasonal products and the proportion of imported ingredients has been reduced to a minimum to keep the price low,” explains a company representative.
According to him, at this stage, “investments are minimal” and are associated with the completion of the menu. In September, the service will invest in a major advertising campaign for the new line.
My Food is one of Performance Group’s services. The food does not contain preservatives or food additives, so it can be kept in the refrigerator for a maximum of 72 hours. Delivery is made once every three days by the company’s own courier service. Dishes from the “My Food Prosto” line can be ordered in 20 cities of Russia.
A little over a year ago, Grow Food’s “Reception” budget ration service also entered the market. Approximately 30 days of food will cost 9900 rubles, or 330 rubles per day.
