The long-awaited release of one of the main novelties of recent years, the film Mission Impossible: Deadly Reckoning, took place at the world box office. Part 1″.
All of us may have had a massive promotion showing off one of the most dangerous stunts Tom Cruise has pulled. The actor was previously driven by his zeal to independently implement the most difficult stunts without the help of stuntmen. Even though he is already 61 years old, Cruz has increased the degree of adrenaline in his blood.
In this part, even more crazy tricks appeared, and the plot is closer to our reality. But first things first.
We have already reviewed the novelty and are in a hurry to share our impressions.
This movie won’t let you get bored.
The most topical topic of recent years is again raised in the cinema. And “Mission Impossible” fits the action perfectly.
What is the movie about: a new virus created on the basis of artificial intelligence has appeared in the world. Who its creator is unknown. However, it is known that the neural network is constantly evolving and lives its own life.
She uncovers clues and reveals that she will soon take over control. Ethan Hunt discovers a new mission – to capture two cruciform keys while observing the control system of this AI. He decides that the “essence” must be destroyed, but the government does not agree with this.
Are there AI in the discovered hands and could there be special agents with a task?
As a matter of fact, the plot here is quite standard both for the genre and for the franchise as a whole. There is a global threat, and there are heroes who will definitely cope with it, having gone through a series of difficult situations.
What I’ve always liked about The Mission is the constant change of locations. And the new part does not change its testimony. Here the scene changes, maybe 20 minutes. Just imagine how many of them there will be in almost 3 hours of timing.
And what are they worth crazy chases, stunts and much more inherent in the series … It is simply impossible to take your eyes off this. And after all, all this continues to be done by a person who, with the increase in the generation of people, has gone almost higher. For nearly 20 years now, Ethan Hunt has noticed and kept up the pace.
The same Bond is no longer so impressive, and a couple of years ago he retired. Who has now replaced Daniel Craig is unknown. And whether it is necessary, is also not entirely clear. The series has already outlived its usefulness, but now is not about that.
Director Christopher Macquarie is not the first time working with Cruise, and it was not allowed to not affect the duo. Author of past “Missions” and resonant (though not the most successful) “Tourist” knows how to make spy movies. And with each new part, they only raise the stakes.
On this occasion, the venerable spy has to run and jump twice or even three times as much. This is a truly phenomenal phenomenon, dreaming of how old Tom himself is and that he continues to refuse the services of stuntmen. When you see what he does on screen, your jaw just drops.
The action is incredible, and not only it
Fans of the franchise appreciate both the return of old heroes and meeting new ones. They are succinctly recorded in the tone of accumulation and in history itself. Well, where is the legendary Ethan Hunt without his friends? No mission is complete without them.
The film can provoke you to watch not only with a peppy, truly dynamic action, but also with good dialogues, literally encrusted subtle (sometimes not very) humor. It is easy to read and does not look superfluous, but only emphasizes a number of frivolous situations.
As for the dynamics, it is in full order. Not a single scene will make you bored. As soon as the pace slows down a little, Hunt is thrown into a new thick of events, he does not get out of the order, but simply alternates between them.
There are plenty of action scenes too. What is worth just one long dizzying chase in Rome or the final fight on the roof of a moving train, which you may have already seen in part in the trailers. And even that very scene with a jump on a motorcycle, which Tom Cruise performed 6 times, is not inferior to them. However, it’s far from the best. The best was saved for the end and hidden in the trailer – for this great respect.
Composer Lorne Balfe also did a great job. He was able to perfectly match the musical accompaniment to the film. Both orchestral motifs and technomyka sound juicy here. In general, almost perfect.
Watch everyone!
“Mission Impossible: Deadly Reckoning. Part 1” is a chic entertaining movie, a great action movie that echoes our reality.
Yes, the plot has its own problems and some “holes”, but I don’t want to scold the picture for them at all. She achieves a high level of her main task – maintains a high pace throughout the coverage and does not let interests get bored.
A must see, preferably in IMAX.
