Tesla has unveiled the first production copy of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The press service posted on Twitter a photo of the car surrounded by employees of the plant.
“The first Cybertruck is assembled in [Gigafactory] in Texas,” the statement said.

Tesla announced the Cybertruck in 2019, an electric pickup truck with seating for up to six passengers, made with a rugged outer shell used in the production of Starship space rockets.
The electric car maker said then that the cost of the car will be $39.99 thousand and its production will start in 2021. The launch of the pickup truck was then postponed until 2022.
In April 2023, Elon Musk promised investors that the first Cybertruck buyers would start receiving cars in the third quarter of this year, though mass production wouldn’t start until 2024.
