Moscow’s Presnensky Court imposed provisional measures on 50 bank accounts and collectible gold coins of blogger Elena Blinovskaya, TASS reports. They also arrested around 100 million rubles in various currencies and 21 real estate objects.
The court made such a decision as part of a criminal case for non-payment of taxes by Blinovskaya and her husband.
“Provisional measures were imposed on funds held in 50 accounts in various banks, as well as 46,173,358 rubles, 292,650 US dollars, 123 yuan, 5 dzao. In addition, in the case of the blogger, 10 ruble coins were arrested – 7 pieces, George the Victorious coins – 80 pieces, coins in individual boxes – 12 pieces, coins with a face value of 2 rubles, coins with a face value of 1 ruble, ”the interlocutor of the publication listed.

Provisional measures were also imposed on 21 premises in Moscow, the Yaroslavl and Moscow regions, as well as two parking spaces.
- Blinovskaya was detained at the end of April 2023 when she was trying to cross the Russian border. According to the investigation, from 2019 to 2021, she did not pay taxes in the amount of more than 918 million rubles. It was noted that Blinovskaya used the scheme of “splitting” the business and understated the income received.

The court sent her under house arrest; in May, the blogger’s appeal was rejected. At the same time, her husband Alexei was charged with complicity in tax evasion and money laundering.
What other bloggers are accused of tax evasion?
- In addition to Blinovskaya, in early March, a criminal case for tax evasion was initiated against the fitness blogger Lerchek and her husband. The prosecution believes that they did not pay 300 million rubles to the budget.
- In addition, a criminal case for non-payment of taxes for 120 million rubles was opened against the blogger Alexandra Mitroshina. She is accused of creating several sole proprietorships to maintain a simplified tax system.
- In May, the tax authorities began verifying the accounts of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. Her LLC Ivleeva Production advertising agency, as well as 20 other sole proprietors and LLCs associated with her, were suspected of tax evasion.
