The list includes projects that have been recognized as the best in many world rankings. However, the recently released games The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Elden Ring could not enter the list because they did not receive sufficient ratings.
The scoreboard is presented as follows:

- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
