The United States imposes the toughest sanctions on four co-founders of Alfa Group

Alfa Group co-founders Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, German Khan and Alexei Kuzmichev are included on the SDN list, the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control reported.

Being on the SDN list means the harshest sanctions, namely the blocking of all assets in the United States and the prohibition of local citizens from doing business with the sanctioned persons.

In addition to the co-founders of Alfa Group, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs was included in the SDN list.

Alfa Group co-founder Mikhail Fridman is already under sanctions from the European Union, Britain and other countries.
