Experts from the HSE Center for Artificial Intelligence have developed new software that can predict how elements of the genome are located in the human body. This development holds great potential for diagnostic genetics laboratories as well as pharmaceutical companies seeking targets for new drugs.

This is unique software created with the latest deep learning methods in mind. It allows you to collect and process a large amount of data about the body, which significantly saves time and effort for researchers. Users can upload their data to the server, choose processing options, and the program will automatically create a model and start training. As a result, the user receives information about the location of the elements of the genome, as well as a statistical analysis of the relevant features.

The work was carried out as part of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence”, designed to develop artificial intelligence in Russia. This project has already led to the establishment of several artificial intelligence research centers, including the HSE Center for Artificial Intelligence. This allows the country to stay at the forefront of artificial intelligence and use it to solve various problems.
