The Mercury News reports that Apple intends to send all plaintiffs and sign off on court papers about intentionally slowing down the iPhone.

The class action lawsuit was open to US customers who had an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7 or 7 Plus running iOS 10.2.1 or iOS 11.2 until December 21, 2017. Apple slowed down iPhones to extend the life of worn-out batteries, but did not inform its patients about this – not all cases with a subsequent investigation.

Eventually, in 2020, the company agreed to pay $500 million for an objective search. Everyone who signed and applied by October 6, 2020 will receive $65 shortly.
