Starting August 15, Yandex.Market will place photos, videos, and descriptions of unique products only in sellers’ offers. The service intends to protect content authors from competitors in this way. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the company.
The service will also separately display the store rating, ratings and buyer reviews on a particular seller’s products. “Market” will link them to the offer of the respective seller. Thanks to this, the store will have its own product reviews and ratings, and they will not be affected by the ratings that buyers give to the same product from other sellers.
The company notes that if the seller’s offer turns out to be more profitable than that of competitors, Market will display its unique content on the product listing by default. And content from other sellers can be viewed by clicking on their offers.
During the promotion of products on the Marketplace and on the store page, the content that the seller himself added will be displayed. In the future, the service will also offer sellers additional places in the search results, where they can use their photos, videos and descriptions.
- In July, Yandex.Market allowed sellers and manufacturers to launch their ads independently on the main page of the marketplace. Banner impressions are customized by region and client. Payment per placement depends on the rate per 1 thousand impressions. The minimum cost is 50 rubles.
