Okay Vision Technologies, located in Dubna Special Economic Zone near Moscow, is starting the construction of a factory to produce solutions for the care of contact lenses. Production is scheduled to begin in 2024, which will allow the production of key lens care products, including a rare peroxide solution not yet produced in Russia.
Okay Vision Technologies has been operating as a resident of SEZ “Dubna” since 2019 and currently produces contact lenses in the innovation and technology center “Lomonosov”. The new facility will specialize in contact lens care solutions containing a rare peroxide solution. The area of the new production will be more than 2,000 square meters, and investments in the project will amount to 275.3 million rubles.
Peroxide solution plays an important role in the maintenance of various types of rigid gas permeable contact lenses. It is used to disinfect, clean, remove protein deposits, rinse and store lenses. This project fills a gap in the Russian market where such solutions have not been produced before.
The choice of business location, including special economic zones, can be made using the investment map of the Moscow region. This card has been developed in accordance with the regional investment standard valid in the Moscow region.
