The red thread of the movie is time travel. The protagonist is Lee Warner, who with his crew steals secrets before they are revealed. The Z+ tablet allows the user to exchange consciousness with their tomorrow self for an hour. But for such activities to have little or no effect on time, a strict set of rules for time travel must be followed. And if something doesn’t go as planned, Warner and his team must fix all the mistakes to save their past, present and future. Actor Grant Schumacher was chosen to play Lee Warner.
The idea of Heist from the Future came to Bruce Wample in 2013. In 2015, she worked with writer Mike Ladue on the noir thriller Time Warp.
Then there was the work of a horror film, but the desire to make a science fiction film about time travel did not leave the director, and in 2020 he decided to return to the idea of time travel in consciousness. The result was the fantastic action movie “Heist from the Future”.
