Memory modules with a capacity of 32 GB each were used in the experiment. The tests were conducted on a powerful gaming system equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900K processor and NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics.
As a result of comparison in various games, the following indicators were obtained:
- Forza Horizon 5: DDR4 showed 219 fps while DDR5 showed 223 fps.
- cyberpunk 2077: 120fps for DDR4, 141fps for DDR5.
- CS:GO: DDR4 – 827fps, DDR5 – 813fps.
- Hitman 3: DDR4 reached 202 fps, DDR5 219 fps.
However, it should be noted that the difference between DDR4 and DDR5 is minimal in such a powerful gaming system. This may mean that when planning a PC upgrade, you should consider upgrading other components, such as the processor or graphics card, instead of RAM.
