This watch is likely to be introduced with the flagship Pixel 8 series smartphones. Recently, Pixel Watch 2 appeared on the list of supported devices on Google Play and Google Play Console.
According to the database, Google’s smartwatch is codenamed “eos”, which confirms the name of the Google Pixel Watch 2. It was previously reported that the version codenamed “Eos” will be the LTE version of the watch.
The Google Play Console listing has revealed the key features of the new product. The watch will retain its rounded design, reminiscent of the first-generation Pixel Watch, and the rotating crown on the right.
The clock screen will have a resolution of 384 x 384 pixels and a pixel density of 324 DPI. Inside the device will be a Qualcomm SW5100 processor with four Cortex-A53 cores and Adreno 702 GPU.
This matches the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset. The watch will have 2GB of RAM and will run Wear OS 4.0.
