Meizu does not stand aside either; He applied for a patent for glasses that can measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2).

Patent documents reveal that the device includes components such as smart glasses body, nose pads and health sensors.

Interestingly, the sensors that measure heart rate and SpO2 are located where the nasal pads touch the nose. This method improves detection accuracy.

Meizu did not directly apply for a patent. Published on behalf of a new company founded in 2021. But it is chaired by the same person who runs Meizu.

The name of the new company is Hubei Xingji Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures mobile phones, integrated circuits, electronic products and satellite mobile phones.
