The Mobility Technologies exhibition is part of the Moscow City Forum, where participants are introduced to innovations for people with disabilities. The Participation of People with Disabilities field shows trends in social inclusion and rehabilitation, as well as which technologies are improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Alexei Volodin, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection, emphasized that the city does a lot to make every Muscovite, including people with disabilities, feel comfortable. He stated that many projects aim to create an inclusive environment where modern rehabilitation tools are developed. This helps Muscovites to use innovative technologies in the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation.
Various companies producing prostheses are exhibited in the exhibition. These include Motorika, Orthocosmos, Metiz, MaxBionic, Anatomics, Warp-dm and Tios. These organizations represent the latest developments such as energy efficient feet, unique knee modules and bionic prostheses. Cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and these companies makes it possible to provide free of charge modern prosthetics to Muscovites with disabilities.
An important part of the exhibition is the image of the future city, which takes into account the needs of each person. Here you can see and test innovative developments such as children’s exoskeletons and the ski slope simulator. These technologies not only support physical activity, but also create opportunities for the active life of people with disabilities.
