Far Cry 3 was running at 720p with the low preset. It managed to get 60fps on average and looked pretty good.
Bioshock Infinite ran at an average frame rate of around 55fps at 720p on low graphics settings, but the first few minutes of FPS were at 40-odd frames per second.
CS:GO tested at the same settings and resolution as the games above. Basically you can get 60 or more frames per second. When you switch to 600p resolution, you can sometimes be satisfied with FPS above 100 fps, but on average it will be around 90 fps.
Dota 2 was also running at 720p and also with the Low preset. The average framerate dropped to 30fps during the fight, but hovered around 70fps overall. You’ll get an average FPS that goes up to 120fps at times on the lowest graphics settings.
Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 tested at 720p at Low/Medium settings. Frame rate averaged 59fps.
GTA 5 was running at 720p with Normal preset. Average FPS in this game was around 39-40fps. Average FPS was around 50-60fps after switching to 600p resolution.
Average framerate was around 60+ fps in Battlefield 4 at 720p on Low graphics settings.
Left 4 Dead 2 ran at 1080p with the High preset. Average FPS during the war was 93fps, while in the main game it was 75fps.
War Thunder failed to start at all.
ARK Survival Evolved was running at 600p with the low preset. We managed to get an average of 32-34 fps in the results.
Crysis tested at 720p on High graphics settings. The average frame rate was about 40fps. Average FPS was 58fps with the medium preset.
Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 ran at 1080p with the low preset. The average frame rate was 70fps.
In Skyrim you’ll get an average of 60fps on Full HD and Low graphics settings.
Team Fortress 2 ran at 1080p with the High preset. Average performance was around 150-170 fps.
Tomb Raider 2013 released in 720p with High graphics. Average FPS in this game was around 52fps. It managed to get a maximum of 68 fps, a minimum – 38 fps.
Minecraft Java was run in Full HD resolution on high settings. The average frame rate in this game was 60fps.
The GeForce 8800 GTX showed pretty impressive results in games. True, most of the projects in which it was tested were released in 2012-2013. Moreover, at that time this graphics accelerator was already considered outdated.
