Now, given the increasing demand for self-driving cars, the company is considering a partnership with Samsung Electronics.

According to a recent report from South Korea, this particular IT giant could be the main supplier of 5th generation chips for the Tesla autopilot system (HW 5.0). These processors will be manufactured using advanced 4nm technology.

Earlier this year, there were already rumors of a meeting between Elon Musk and Samsung’s Lee Jae-young.

It is assumed that the main topic of discussion is precisely the chips for autopilot systems. Samsung, one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers, shows great interest in Tesla.
