Notably, all four versions of the Apple Watch Link Bracelet are already sold in the US, as are some Modern Buckle straps and selected Hermès models. While these bracelets can still be found in some Apple retail stores, the drop in sales indicates that new products will be launched soon.

Traditionally, Apple also promotes new bands at the same time as the launch of the new Apple Watch. However, the Link bracelet’s absence from sale indicates that it will be discontinued or replaced with an upgraded version.

The upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 is expected to include a faster chip, but it won’t be a big change. Apple also plans to introduce the Apple Watch Ultra with similar improvements while keeping the current design. Reportedly, any major update to the watch band mechanism will be delayed until the release of other Apple Watches next year.

For those interested in the link bracelet, it may continue to be available on Amazon, at least for now.
