Startup Winest, which was launched in Israel by Burger Heroes burger chain founder Igor Podstreshny, has raised $800,000 in a pre-seed investment round. This was reported by CTech.

The company was invested in by Logistor co-founder Alexander Fridman, Possible Group founder Andrey Vinograd, Instinct creative director Daniil Ostrovsky and DCBL co-founder Vadim Stolberg.

The Winest, by completing a questionnaire, creates the user’s taste profile, taking into account various preferences. Based on this profile, the startup’s solution suggests wines that are tailored to the user’s needs.

The Winest is co-founded with Podtreshny by his Moscow business partner Petr Rabchevsky and Ekaterina Shokhina, who previously worked in marketing at Adidas, Uniqlo, the BMW Group, LVMH and other companies.
