By the end of 2023, Yandex will launch a virtual voice assistant in Kazakhstan, the Vedomosti newspaper reports, citing Dmitry Masyuk, head of Yandex’s advertising and search technology business group.
The Alice voice assistant in Kazakh will be available in the Yandex browser on computers, smartphones and in a mobile application.
The company has already launched search, map and navigation services in the Kazakh language. Since the beginning of this year, the local map audience has increased 1.5 times. The monthly audience of Yandex services in Kazakhstan reaches about 10 million people.
Also in Kazakhstan “smart” speakers “Yandex Station” are sold.
