But a recent study conducted by US scientists showed that AI-generated texts have become so advanced that even linguists have difficulty identifying them.

As part of the study, experts working in leading linguistic journals from different parts of the world were invited.

They were tasked with determining which of the texts presented to them was written by a person and which by artificial intelligence. The results were striking: Experts were only able to correctly identify the origin of the text 39% of the time.

These data caused concern among scientists. Many teachers and professors now face the problem of separating student work from AI-generated texts.
