Over the eight months of 2023, the number of failed business purchases decreased by almost 50% compared to the same period in 2022. TenderPro analysts talked about this.

Mostly, tenders for the supply of imported equipment and spare parts for them, for example products of the Caterpillar, Siebert, Bitzer, Asteel brands, are considered unsuccessful. More often than in other tenders for repair services for imported equipment they fail; In these contests the number of participants has been reduced by half.

“As a rule, this is due to difficulties in organizing the import into the territory of the Russian Federation of goods and components from imported manufacturers,” TenderPro reported.

The average level of competition in tenders during the analyzed period increased by 9.3%. Most contractors participate in tenders for the supply of veterinary drugs (18 participants), pumps (15 participants) and work clothes (9 participants).

The highest level of competition was observed in retail and metallurgical tenders: more than 70% of procurement tenders recruited at least four participants.
