Russian Post plans to open a company in Dubai, company director Mikhail Volkov said in an interview with TASS. He did not provide details. The choice of country for the subsidiary is related to the growth of shipments.
To date, six countries have suspended postal communications with Russia. Some other logistical difficulties arise with several other countries.
In early July, Pochta started direct air shipment to Yerevan from Mineralnye Vody. In August, Russian Post began regular direct air delivery of items to Georgia. In total, the postal operator delivers international shipments to 130 countries.
