Russians began to collect orders at collection points more quickly: study

In 2023 the time for collecting orders at collection points will be reduced. This is stated in a study by PIM Solutions. The service analyzed data from 60 thousand online stores connected to it.

In the first half of 2023, orders began to increase most rapidly in Chechnya (-29%), the Omsk region (-29%) and the Voronezh region (-27%). Three regions have appeared in which orders are picked up within 24 hours: Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.

“The time required to collect orders at collection points is one of the main indicators that characterize the consumer behavior of residents of certain regions. The faster customers pick up their orders, the cheaper it will be to store them and the more efficiently the space at pickup points will be used,” said Olga Satanovskaya, CEO of PIM Solutions.

In the Bryansk and Kostroma regions, as well as in Komi, an increase in the time required for picking orders was recorded. Residents of Tuva (3 days), Chukotka (2.9 days) and the Magadan region (2.7 days) take the longest to receive orders.
