In September 2023, compared to September last year, salary offers in Russia increased by an average of 39%. The areas in which the increase is most noticeable are “domestic staff”, “education and science” and “arts and entertainment”.

The increase in salaries in the field of “education and science” in September amounted to 67%

Avito Works researchers conducted analytical work and compiled a rating of the top 10 segments where salary offers grew the most over the year. TASS reviewed the data.

Here are the figures for the three main industries:

  • domestic staff – an increase of 68% (average offer from 52 to 60 thousand rubles),
  • education and science – an increase of 67% (average offer from 52 to 60 thousand rubles),
  • arts and entertainment – an increase of 56% (average offer up to 52 thousand rubles).

The rest of the activity sectors included in the top ten grew significantly less: from 19% to 30%. Among them, marketing, production, agriculture, construction and construction lead with figures of around 30%, and average salaries are higher here.

For example, in marketing, the average offer is 54 thousand rubles, in production – about 58 thousand rubles, in construction – almost 69 thousand rubles.

The ranking also includes areas such as insurance (24% increase in salary offers), messaging (21%), banking (20%) and the tourism and restaurant segment (19%).
