During its fall presentation, Apple noted that repairing the iPhone 15 Pro has become easier thanks to a new internal architecture that makes it easy to replace the back panel.

Now Apple has confirmed this with its pricing policy. Replacing the back cover of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will cost $169 and $199, respectively. For comparison, a similar service for previous generation smartphones cost $499 and $549.

Those who purchased the AppleCare+ plan for their iPhone will pay just $29 for a new back cover.

However, not everywhere is so pleasant. Apple Watch repairs, on the contrary, have become more expensive. Battery replacement now costs $99 instead of $79. [9to5]
