Elon Musk also said that the chips have already been successfully tested on blind monkeys and none of them “died or suffered serious injuries from the Neuralink device.”
The day before, Neuralink published a video on X with Nolan Arbo, 29, who controls figures with the power of thought in online chess. According to the patient, the implantation operation itself was very simple, despite the need to open the skull. However, Nolan points out that the tests did not go entirely well and that there is still a lot of work to be done.
