General Motors continues to hire Apple employees as the company phases out CarPlay in its electric vehicles.
According to 9to5Mac, the CEO has now hired two former Buyers employees: David Richardson, responsible for iCloud, FaceTime and Siri, and Baris Cetinok, senior director of production and marketing for iCloud, Apple Pay and other services.
Richardson is now the CEO’s new vice president of software and services. It is not specified who hired Cetinok. Both new hires report to Mike Abbott, senior vice president of general manager software and services.
