BCS refused to develop a digital business bank “Sfera” under a separate brand. The project was reformatted and integrated into the BCS Bank structure. Sfera was launched in 2018, the bank’s social networks have not been updated since February 2022.
The digital bank for companies “Sfera” has stopped operating under its own brand. It was reformatted as part of the restructuring of the banking business of the BCS group and integrated into the structure of BCS Bank, BCS informed RB.RU.
“Currently, attention to clients in the SME segment continues under the brand of the corporate and investment bank BCS (BCS CIB). This allowed us to expand the list of banking products, including foreign trade activities and foreign exchange transactions, which are in high demand today,” BCS noted.
The digital business bank “Sfera” was launched in October 2018 under the BKS license. Plans to launch the bank were known in June of the same year. In addition to settlement and cash services, Sfera offered online accounting services, electronic document management, financial analysis and legal advice.
Currently, when you try to follow a direct link to the Sfera Bank website, you are redirected to the BCS website, where business banking services are offered. Sfera Bank social networks have not been updated since February 21, 2022.
