Almost a thousand Russian companies and individual entrepreneurs request payments from the Google representative office in the Russian Federation. The debt exceeds 20.1 billion rubles as of August 22, writes TASS.
Among the applicants are VK, 1C-Bitrix, Skillfactory online school, VTB Leasing, VimpelCom (Beeline brand), SKB Kontur and others.
In May 2022, the Russian subsidiary of the American corporation Google, Google LLC, applied to the arbitration court to declare bankruptcy.

In December 2021, the court imposed a reversible fine of 7.2 billion rubles on Google for failing to remove information. In May of this year, bailiffs initiated a case of forced collection of money.

Previously, the assets of the Russian subsidiary of Google worth 500 million rubles were detained by the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court. The television company NTV filed a statement of claim in this regard. The Moscow Arbitration Court made another decision to confiscate property worth 500 million rubles based on the claim of GPM Entertainment Television LLC, which is part of the Gazprom-Media media holding.
