For those who missed it, MTS unboxed the iPhone 15 Pro Max before other operators. Journalists were also invited, including us.
I twirled it in my hands and pressed it, here are brief impressions of the iPhone 15 Pro Max:
1. The color on the packaging in MTS is titanium blue. Prints VERY very visible. In the hands it resembles an iPhone 12 or iPhone 13, the frame is also matte. Still slippery.
2. Beveled edges are definitely good. It really fits better on the hand. Although it’s easier to drop now. Covers are our everything.
3. The difference in weight is inconceivable without direct comparison. After the iPhone 13 Pro Max there is no “wow”, plus or minus the same thing.
4. The new multifunction button is pressed for real, and does not simulate a click, like, for example, the Touch ID sensor in virtual iPhones. We will miss the “lever”, but overall it hasn’t gotten much worse.
5. Apparently, Russian eSIMs are activated without problems. MTS is definitely ok, we’ll find out about other operators soon.
6. They didn’t say where MTS got the iPhone from before sales started in the world. 🤷♂️
7. Personally, I would take a non-blue or black, light iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max in titanium cases. If anything is suitable for those who immediately put on the case. And so – the kingdom of blobs and prints, including on the side edges.
