1. Access the official WhatsApp Web website;

2. Once there, click “Connect with phone number” to use a method other than QR Code;

3. Then enter the phone number of the WhatsApp account whose web or desktop version you want to use, including the area code;

4. Now you need to enter the unique code displayed on the screen. You can do this in two ways: The first of these is to access the notification that will be displayed on WhatsApp itself from your smartphone and write the same code there;

5. If this notification did not appear on your smartphone app, a manual procedure is required for verification;

6. Once on your smartphone, open the WhatsApp app signed in to the account whose web and desktop version you want to use;

7. On the main screen, click on the “Settings” option at the bottom of the screen as shown in the image below;

8. On the next screen, click on “Connected devices”;

9. Then press the blue button labeled “Connect a device”;

10. Now click on “Connect via phone number” under the central animation;

11. On the next screen, you will need to enter the same code that was presented to you when you initiated the connection process on the web or desktop version. Enter it exactly as it appears on your computer;

12. When you return to the computer, note that after you enter the code, the web or desktop application will begin loading your messages and contacts;

13. That’s it, now you can use the version of WhatsApp for Web or for desktops, Windows and Mac.
