A failure occurred in the operation of the MTS system in the south of Russia. Most of the complaints received from the operator’s subscribers indicate problems with signal strength and voice quality. MTS promises to fix the problems soon.
MTS subscribers in the southern regions of Russia note a failure in the operator’s services. This is demonstrated by the data from the Failure Detector service.
According to the service, complaints began to arrive at 15:00 Moscow time. They come mainly from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Sochi. Most complaints say that MTS services “do not work.” Some of the complaints relate to signal level and voice quality.
Krasnodar MTS subscribers note that services do not work only in some areas of the city. Also, some users reported that “one MTS SIM card works, but the other does not.”
The MTS contact center told TASS that they would fix the problems within a few hours.
