Bloggers have already conducted a relevant experiment and gave the answer: nothing catastrophic will happen. No device will malfunction, explode, or even complain of incompatibility.
The authors of the YouTube channel PetaPixel conducted a test by connecting the iPhone 15 Pro to a foldable Samsung smartphone.
The results turned out to be interesting: when connected, one of the devices starts charging from the other. However, this process occurs randomly.
In one case, the iPhone started releasing charge and when connected again, the Android smartphone started charging. At the same time, the devices do not “recognize” each other as storage devices, which is a plus in terms of security.
But the process of connecting two smartphones still has its quirks. Theoretically, a device with a lower charge level should be charged from another, but in practice this works unpredictably.
