Apple has introduced a new authentication mechanism on the iPhone 15

Apple has begun marking the boxes containing the new iPhone 15 with QR codes invisible to the naked eye. This was reported by the 9to5mac portal.

The QR code printed on the back of the box containing the smartphone can only be seen under ultraviolet light. The box also contains the serial number and IMEI of the smartphone, which can be compared with the data in the device settings.

Apple has not officially announced the introduction of a new authentication mechanism.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 at its annual conference on September 12. The most affordable version of the new smartphone will cost the buyer $799.

A Russian with an average salary of 66,645 rubles will have to save all the money earned in 46.3 days in order to save for a new Apple flagship, a Picodi study shows.
