Most of the world’s hackers speak Chinese, said Kaspersky Lab CEO Evgeniy Kaspersky. The Russian language occupies only fourth place in terms of prevalence.
“Most hackers speak Chinese, then Spanish, Portuguese, then Russian, English and broken English and Turkish,” RIA quotes Kaspersky.
According to the director of Kaspersky Lab, the majority of cybercriminals are “so-called students”, mid- and low-level specialists. The company has observed a trend towards the formation of an increasing number of professional groups among cybercriminals.
Currently, Kaspersky Lab registers 900 hacker projects whose main activities are cybercrime and espionage.
“And they are becoming more sophisticated, more evil,” Kaspersky added.
