iFixit has published a teardown video of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The technicians confirmed that the back panel of the smartphone can now be easily removed. The video also featured a closer look at the new telephoto lens, shot at 5x zoom.
The rest of the camera sensors look the same as those found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
In general, improvement of photographs was achieved using software methods.
iFixit says the iPhone 15 Pro Max has the same motherboard as the iPhone 15 Pro. The devices are also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X70 modem.
The final repairability score is 4/10, despite the improved design.
