The majority (67%) of iPhone owners in Russia prefer to buy new iPhones rather than switch to smartphones from other manufacturers, Kommersant writes, citing MTS data.

This is the highest figure among brands. For example, Xiaomi continues to be chosen by only 41% of owners, and Samsung – 35%.

In 2023, Russians began to change smartphone brands more often when switching to new devices – only 30% of users remain committed to manufacturers. A year earlier the figure was 34%.

Buyers began to change brands more often due to the promotion of new Chinese brands on the Russian market, Samsung supply restrictions and strong advertising support from Xiaomi.

M.Video-Eldorado added that iPhone owners are being deterred from switching to other smartphones in the Apple ecosystem. Most often, iPhone users have an Apple Watch, AirPods or MacBook, as well as subscriptions to company services. [Коммерсантъ]
