On October 5, Ozon will open its first pickup point (PPO) at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport, the company said in a statement. It will be the first collection point in the country at the airport facilities.

The market’s first order collection point will appear at Domodedovo airport

The collection point will open in the airport free zone. This means that all tourists arriving, departing and accompanying Domodedovo will be able to collect their orders there.

The merchandise will be delivered to the collection point by the market itself, shipments will be made by couriers who have been cooperating with Ozon for a long time and have received positive comments from managers and customers.

It will be possible to select a point to place the order from the application and through the desktop version of the market, the delivery times of products to the point are average in Moscow.

The collection point will have two fitting rooms, a large customer area and a recognizable sign at the entrance. The point at the airport will be managed by market partners – Zont Hotel Group, which offers hotel services in Domodedovo.

“When you go on a trip it is always difficult to buy everything you need. Previously, it was necessary to go through several stores, but with the opening of the Ozon order collection point at Domodedovo airport, it is possible to order everything you need from one window and deliver it directly to the air port,” Denis Dyachenko, director Ozon’s partner logistics program development team explained the launch.

In the future, the market plans to open new duty-free pick-up points at Russian airports.
