The ISS space station maneuvered to prepare for the launch of the Progress MS-25 cargo ship. This was done in order to create favorable conditions for its entry into space. The maneuver increased the average altitude of the ISS orbit by 0.86 kilometers, making it possible to reach an altitude of 417.78 kilometers above the Earth’s surface. The engines of the Progress MS-24 cargo ship were activated for this maneuver.

Currently on board the ISS are cosmonauts from Roscosmos, NASA, ESA and JAXA. These men and women work aboard the station, performing a variety of scientific and space missions. This orbit correction is an important part of the operations involved in maintaining the ISS and its equipment.

The maneuver will assist in the successful launch and arrival of the Progress MS-25 cargo ship, which will undertake important duties at the station. These actions demonstrate the high level of coordination and professionalism required to operate in the space environment.
