The probiotic fermented milk product Actimel will be produced in Russia under the new brand Actimuno, a representative of the Health&Nutrition company (formerly Danone) informed RB.RU.
The changes will affect the brand and packaging design.
It is reported that Actimuno brand products will maintain quality and safety standards, as well as flavor characteristics. Actimuno will be produced in the same production facilities as Actimel.
Previously, Danone localized the international brand Activia in Russia under the new name ActiBio.
In July, Danone was transferred to the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency by decree of the President of the Russian Federation. The head of the company’s Russian business was the vice president of the Chechen government, Ramzan Kadyrov’s nephew, Yakub Zakriev.
