New electronic components are being developed in Russia that can replace imported analogues. These components are important for maintaining a variety of devices, including mission-critical systems. Mass production of these Russian devices will begin in 2024.
These new components are called operational amplifiers and can be used in a variety of electronic devices. They can amplify weak signals to a level suitable for processing by other parts of electronic circuits. These components are needed in medical equipment, instrumentation and video communication systems.
Russian amplifiers are compatible with imported analogues in size and characteristics, which makes them easier to use in existing devices. They can also be automatically installed on printed circuit boards, simplifying the manufacturing process.
This project was initiated by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and implemented by NPP Pulsar, part of Ruselectronics. Devices created at the enterprise are analogues of imported components produced by Analog Devices. This initiative became viable due to sanctions and logistical problems that made maintaining electronics difficult.
Russian-made amplifiers combine high quality with a competitive price, which makes them attractive for manufacturers. They are expected to have a significant share in the operational amplifier market in Russia after the start of mass production in 2024.
