However, despite all the advantages listed above, there are also disadvantages. Although Oculus calls the Quest 3 “the first mainstream mixed reality headset,” the device is currently facing content and functionality issues.
Most games and apps on the Quest 3 today are designed for virtual reality, not mixed reality.
The authors also note that the device is an excellent VR helmet, but its potential in mixed reality has yet to be realized.
