Yandex has opened a recruitment process for AI trainers for humanities students who want to work in the IT field and develop neural networks, the company said in a statement. The training is free.
AI trainers are humanities specialists who train next-generation generative neural networks together with Yandex engineers. They write example texts to train the neural network, evaluate the quality of its responses, and teach the neural network to be ethical and understand what the user expects of it.
Students will be taught to write example texts for generative neural networks, verify facts and quickly find errors in generated texts, and evaluate the quality of neural networks’ responses using dozens of parameters.
The training takes place in two stages: in the first stage (11/07 to 11/26), students attend online classes; in the second, Yandex will bring the best of them to an offline workshop at the company’s Moscow office (11/27–12/01).
To enter the school, you must pass an exam. Applications will be accepted until October 29, 2023. The most successful students will be invited to work in the Yandex team.
