33% of self-employed people consider that the cash receipt is the most important document when working with corporate and private clients. Second is the contract, then the certificate of completion of the work. And only 15% consider all the above documents important when providing services. Consol.Pro analysts have discovered it, the results of the survey are in RB.RU.
Almost a third of freelancers and freelancers do not read a contract drawn up by a client before starting work: 16% trust clients and 15% admitted that they still do not understand anything about legal issues.
At the same time, 66% of freelancers omitted important details in the document when concluding a contract. In most cases, they faced underestimated service costs and the appearance of onerous conditions in the contract. Customers also changed the conditions of service provision and added points with penalties. According to the survey participants, due to their own carelessness, every third person lost up to 80 thousand rubles.
Many believe that signing a contract for freelancers is not a prerequisite and prefer to work on trust, but, according to the main lawyer of Consol.Pro, Arina Yusupova, the company cannot conclude a contract only in one case: the self-employed worker. He provided a service and immediately received payment for it.
