P&W engines cannot be repaired either in Russia or Iran with technologies developed under sanctions and with the technologies they work with “more common and understandable equipment.”

Aviation industry experts state that these engines are very difficult to repair and that official support is needed for them to work properly. This information was confirmed by Dmitry Voskresensky, representative of Willis Lease Financial Company in Eastern Europe.
