An interesting information is the rumors that OnePlus will prefer Wear OS for its new watch.
This will be a significant change from the first OnePlus Watch, which ran its own operating system and was hailed by many as the “advanced smartband”. Therefore, its sales were unsuccessful and the company stopped production of the device in 2022.
If OnePlus decides to use Wear OS, it will likely be Wear OS 4, the latest version of the system already used in the Pixel Watch 2 and Samsung watches.
