This launch will be followed by several more devices, including the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q, M90n-1 IoT, and ThinkEdge SE30 v2, expected by the end of 2023. Based on Android 11, Esper Foundation offers customization options, peripheral compatibility, quarterly security updates, and three years of support. Additionally, the mobile device management (MDM) platform allows you to remotely deploy, manage and update these devices from a single interface.
Lenovo’s decision to integrate its own version of Android into its computers aims to position Esper Foundation OS as an attractive alternative to Windows and Google ChromeOS, especially in niche industries such as retail, hospitality and healthcare, which Esper Foundation primarily targets.
